Do you guys think AMD components are strictly budget builds ? I believe so.

Most of my posts are very controversial, please try not to get butthurt.

CPU's at this point ARE aging but are still good in budget server builds.

 

I built a kickass linux box for $400.

 

8320 @ 4.8 with 32gigs of ram.

 

:P

 

 

And the GPU's are perfectly fine, I still have a 7970 Lightning laying around that still kicks ass in 1080p.

My AMD GPUs cost me around $700 in total, so no. Not at all.

Being on a budget to build a PC doesn't make you poor?

 

Given that you wanted to scam best buy and complain about $500 builds... I don't know what to expect though...

 

Buying an AMD CPU doesn't make you poor; but depending on the use there are often better Intel alternatives at the same overall price.

well since nvidia released the gtx 970 at 330$ and forced amd to cut prices,isn`t nvidia is for poor people?
