Heaven capped at 60FPS

MeltingPoint

When I try to run Heaven the FPS counter seems to be capped to 60. Same goes when I enable MSI afterburner's OSD. The Vsync option in Nvidia Control Panel is set to "Use 3D application setting".

I know my system is capable of pushing  past 60fps so what is going on here?

Nope. Still won't budge.

I've tried the lowest possible settings and even forced Vsync off in Nvidia control panel and still it wont go past 60. This is ridiculous.

Its already unchecked. I tried checking and unchecking a few times and still stuck on 60fps.

Oh I forgot to mention that I'm using an HDMI->DVI cable. Could this be the issue?

Edit: I don't think that connecting via HDMI could cause the issue. The GPU should be able to render as much as it could then store it in the frame buffer. The heck is going on here?

This may be a bit obvious, but have you tried re-installing Heaven?

I did. Graphics drivers are also updated to the latest version.

Right click your desktop, click NVIDIA Control Panel, click Manage 3D settings, click the Program Settings tab, select Unigine Heaven as the program to customize, scroll down to Vertical sync, change it to Off, in the bottom right of the window click Apply, now try running your test.

Like I said in my post above, I even forced vsync off in the global settings. Still stuck on 60fps.

I missed that part.  Anyway, the application specific settings override the global, so make sure that you go into the settings for that specific program and force it to off like I described in my post.
