Phanteks TC14PE vs Thermaltake Frio Vs Cooler Master TPC 812

EllieThePurpleFuzzy

Well im going to be donating my 212evo to the spooky rebuild :), so i've really wanted a good replacement for it :3 I want to have temps at about 30-35C at load or below and 25C or below at idle/browsing, yes i know thats beyond good enough but i just have this ....big thing for low temps (big reason why i bought a 4820K). so yeah :).

Blame my old GTX 590

also another thing i wanted to chuck in was the CM Seidon 120V liquid cooler into the competition my friend uses this with her FX 8350 and she gets about 7-10C better temps than me, she reccomends it very much so so i wondered if it would be a good idea.

one concern is i use high profile RAM and i know that might cause some compatability issues?. and with it being a X79 board the ram slots are on both sides of the CPU.

Phanteks hands down. (even though you can get a Noctua cooler for the same price!!! If you're worried about ram height, just get an AIO, or the Noctua NH-D15 has cut-outs to fit high-profile ram).

I hear a lot of praise for the NH-D15, even that it outperforms some liquid coolers like the H80 and that? OWO

Phanteks looks more aesthetically pleasing too :).

Ooo thank you :D. i did look for some benchmarks but they always just were for overclocked loads.

Holy crap O_o it actually performs up there with the H100 and H110???

I usually presumed air coolers performed at best as well as a H80 or such. ....Very impressive.

consider me sold, it plus my 4820K will be a dream team of cool.
