I recently aquired 10 emacs, how can i get past username/password?

 

Is the only way reinstall the OS?

you can somehow create a new admin and reset the other admin with that new admin, google it for clearer instructions

boot into single user mode. create a new account. that account will automatically become admin. Delete the other account ??? profit

 

no idea if that'll work on older macs though
