Help....3rd Maser hard disk error

Hello, I am using an old pc with a motherboard msi g41m p26

i am trying to boot the drive but there is no use or it boots up after 20 times of hitting the reset button, the hdd is WD caviar blue 160 gb

it always says 3rd Maser hard disk error, checking the boot settings and the hdd is not in the list
and  i am always checking my sata an power connections and all of them are fine

I have another hdd and it is fully working.... Any Help??

I would take the HDD to an already working PC and run a diagnostic tool over it to see if it's performing healthy and it's not malfunctioning. I would recommend using WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool. Here's a link: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=aal9BS
