Bitcoin mining is useless these days unless you are using ASIC hardware

Go Intel. It crushes AMD in gaming.

You cant crossfire Kaveri with 280(x).

Only with r7 cards, an intel cpu and 280(x) would crush that.

but it doesn't crush in integrated graphics. Say I was going to go Intel what should I get for £120ish pounds or 150ish dollars

Yeah true. But you have a 280(x)..

So the Igpu is turned off. On the AMD and Intel. That's how GPUs work.

II think the fx 8320 would be good and get a good heating and overclock to match the performance of the 8350

You will be A LOT happier with a intel i5.

Just get the cheapest fourth gen i5 and throw it in a h97 board.

The i5 isn't in my budget. The 8320 is a good prosessor and with my r9 280x it will be a beast of a machine also I'm a overclock so h97 won't work and Intel k or x unlocked processors are well out of my budget

Try a ASUS or MSI. Also do not mount a better GPU than 280X to that CPU its a waste. =)

Infact the max it should handle is a 960 or 280 not X but some games it may manage to use it fully. (SOME GAMES!)

I do have seen cases where it handles well with a 290X but then the game does not eat to much CPU.
