[Updated, more brands]New MX RGB keyboards form Computex 2015

No article for this, sorry, just few teaser images. I'll keep looking for more news when I can, but:

I know a lot of people have a love for Corsair keyboards and their Cherry MX RGB switches and now we will start to see more companies come out with their own. For those that didn't know, or just not sure, Corsair did have a 1 year exclusive deal with cherry for the MX RGB switches.

[update: June 1]

Asus enters mech market the with their own, ROG branded, Cherry MX keyboard:

Asus' twitter name drops 16.8:

Also check out Ducky's RGB in action:

Interesting that no one has been advertising 16 million colours...

So much for that.

Previous updates

Ducky Channel is the first with their new Shine 5:

[Update: May 25]
More info from the Ducky Channel on facebook, looks like only 4 switch types this time(red, brown, blue, and black) plus better back light.(maybe?)

【Computex 2015】Ducky will release Cherry RGB keyboard and show it on 2015 Computex. This time, Ducky using exclusive patent right design to improve the backlight. It will be superbright! In addition, Ducky will show more details recently, please wait and see...

[update again: May 26]
Apparently Duck has been hard at work improving the lighting for their RGB implementation.

Apparently, the SMD LED that we are going to use is larger than other keyboards that you can see on the shelf. This lead to the result of Cherry RGB switches able to improve the brightness with better outcome.

Ducky still has better build quality and better quality control, but that is a personal opinion.

Why? Ducky has a better build quality and they're clean and simple keyboards too.

On a side note, I want the pink one.

How about some NEW KEYBOARDS ffs

so sick of companies dropping in RGB switches (whatever the brand) and saying "that should cover all product releases this year"

Not to say I don't like Ducky, I think they make brilliant keyboards and am so glad that they are making MX RGB products, but the whole simple thing is the reason I wouldn't get one. I love the design of the K70, it looks amazing and the media keys are really good, best volume wheel ever. Also, I've never actually held a ducky, but I feel like you can't get better build quality than the full Aluminum construction of the corsair.

But that's all personal opinion really, for any of my friends who look for a clean and simple mechanical, I always point them towards ducky.

I've never been a fan of Corsair's keyboards. I just think they look rather tacky and a bit too "gamery" to me, compared to a Ducky keyboard. Though, even with that said, Filco masterrace. ;)

I also prefer Corsair's look and build quality. Solid aluminum? Yup. Braided cable? yessir. I also like how the keys stick up, there's no plastic bezel or anything like that.

Corsair has a aluminum back plate the body is still plastic, the Cable is removable for the Ducky so they have a +1 there and the keys being more recessed like that are is nicer for lighting as it has more to reflect the lighting off of.

Not really, Razer has a braided cable with USB and Audio Pass through so that is were Corsiar or Ducky need to take a step in that direction to get an advantage. Plus the keycaps on the Blackwidow feel much nicer then the ones that Corsair uses.

I'm just not a fan. I prefer keyboards that look more "professional". Granted my Ducky has got pink/purple keycaps on, but that's not my daily driver right now.

I also prefer Corsair's look and build quality. Solid aluminum? Yup. Braided cable? yessir. I also like how the keys stick up, there's no plastic bezel or anything like that.

Ducky and Filco both have metal back plates in their keyboards, not to mention that the one piece of aluminium that is on the Corsair keyboards is acting as this backplate, it is still made with plastic. The plastic on the Ducky keyboard is also very strong and is there as a casing, something to protect the internals. As for a braided cable. My Filco never goes anywhere, so I don't have to worry about the cable being damaged. My Ducky, I have swapped the mini USB that has come with the keyboard for a braided USB cable, so it's fine, and even then, it spends most it's days in a keyboard bag.

for the RGB line? Cause the non RGB line the K70 and K90/95 have USB pass through non of Corsair's keyboards have audio pass through though.

They still are technically dedicated media keys even if they are Function modified keys to use it. I have them all bound to my Macros on my Chroma though so I'm not worried about having dedicated media control.
