[Completed] - My Sub-Ambient Gaming Build

raptor15sc

I finally put the finishing touches on my gaming build (and got it 100% stable for gaming) and I thought you guys would enjoy it. I haven't seen that many people going sub-ambient 24/7, so I decided to try it using the Koolance EXC-800 Chiller and my wall.

Specs:
 i7 4790K at 5GHz
Titan X at 1.5GHz
G.Skill DDR3 at 2.9GHz
HyperX Predator PCIe 480GB
Asus Maximus VII Formula
Corsair HX1000i
Koolance EXC-800 Chiller
3 x 24" Asus VG248QE at 144Hz
Restarts (desktop to desktop) in 15.3 seconds =)

Temperatures are good, and vary depending on how low the chiller is set at. I have a humidity monitor that shows me the dew point at all time (which I set the chiller to plus a 2 degree buffer). The chiller is usually set at 12°C and I play BF4 for a couple hours at over 144 FPS and my GPU stays under 25°C at this load and my CPU stays under 56°C at this load
Idle temps are at about 16°C for the GPU and 26°C for the CPU
Ambient room temp is about 21°C

Bad-Ass setup. I applaud you for your steel balls. plus the wall mounted motherboard looks sick. good job  :)

I am a member of the PCMasterRace. I am terribly sad to announce that I own a PeasantStation 3 Super Slim. it's in a drawer away from my glorious PC.

In the Navy to keep the electronics condensation free we used compressed air (dry). Just a slow flow to keep the enclosures free of any condensate. Has anyone tried dry ice, It sublimes and makes CO2 which being heavier then air will also replace the moisture laden air. Just thinking

That's a good idea. An old A/C window unit plus a recirculating compressed air blower could work. I'd love to see someone try it.

It would be cool. And the noise level will shoot though the roof ;)

Somebody here made a hermetic sealed box and filled it with dry nitrogen to get rid of the humidity.

By the I LOVE your build, even it is to loud for me.

EDIT: I found it: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/356460-nitrogen-gas-phase-change-system-2002-rebuild/

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

You're extreme, this build is extreme, I like extreme.

I wonder how @Slick would react to this. Maybe they can do an "BADASS ULTIMATE EXTREME BUILD LOG" or something
