Kerrisdale Capital Investment Analysts predict that AMD will most likely have to file for bankruptcy in 2020

zMeul

AMD's non-competitive product range is their CPU's and their GPU sales are down because they didn't release anything yet. If Zen doesn't turn out to be that great, they're going to be in a lot of trouble. I don't think their GPU side will have a problem though. They can compete fine in graphics if they actually release them.

Wasn't amd selling their gpus at close to 0% margin and making up for it with the console chips? Aka not a sustainable model? Im fairly sure there were some articles regarding it following the maxwell realted price cuts and another series following financial results

It doesn't matter how big they are, they would have a monopoly over Graphics/Rendering cards. Unless you consider http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/ to be a competitor lol.

It's not illegal to have a monopoly.   Don't confuse antitrust (the use of a monolopy to inhibit competition or consumer choice) from market dominance through fair trade.

Oh the ignorance this place wouldn't have if people spent a couple hours learning things instead of sitting on /r/shitposting with thumbs up their butts.

In the same vein that kids graduating from high school here aren't even taught basic tax and finance skills.

How can you comment on anything if you don't have the solid base of foundational knowledge? You can't. Yet people don't care.

Ideology and mimicry generally only disperse with age/experience.
