ALPS and Kailh switches?

There's always talk of Cherry being the best switch makers, but how good are mechanical switches from other brands like ALPS and Kailh?

ALPS are old classic designs. Not at all like Cherry switches.

Kailhs are direct knockoffs of Cherry switches.

matias alps are good kailh has been making cherry clones for years and as a result have not been viewed well by people that are really into keyboards.
