Some time ago I was saying that someone should release just the cooler for the titan, like they did before with the Windforce cooler. Everyone told me that they can't and it won't happen. Well suck it people, I should stop letting your ideas influence mine!

How much of a difference does this cooler make over the reference Titan X cooler?

Good to see there's an option for folks running on air. I wouldn't say it's solely an option for those who can't afford water cooling, because needles to say I think anyone who owns one can-- even if it's only a graphics card loop. Air cooling and maintenance is inherently simpler.

Probably 10c-20c depending on fan speeds.

Do you think its worth the $140 for me to buy two of these? I plan on overclocking once I get my new case. Current radiator does not fit in the old case for the water cooling on the cpu.

How many slots do you have between them?

I have 1 full slot in between them but I am not at home. It is a good distance. I have the Gigabyte z97 Gaming 7

Thank you for the reply. Just a newb question but is it easy to install them. I have never taken off a cooler. I'm assuming I just unscrew and then add new cooler and screw the nails back in. I might just ask EVGA about since my Titan X's are EVGA as well.

Yeah, you just take the screws off, gently remove the cooler, unplug the fan header, and put new cooler on.

Sounds simple enough. Thank you again. I'm going to wait till I get my new case. Currently they run at 70C with slight overclock. The SC overclock on both When I am playing. My room gets really hot only because I close the door. About the same heat as my single 680 so not that bad. Hopefully new case has better airflow.

This looks great too me seeing as the stock Titan X is a pretty hot card and this looks like a good option for those who don't have the money to water cool this beast.

 If someone can afford a Titan X, chances are they can afford to water cool it.

The question isn't whether it's affordable or not but whether it would work or not. Water cooling isn't an option in my case. Depending on my temps I might actually get this cooler. I'll have to do some testing.
