Perhaps. I was thinking maybe it could come off my scratching at it. Maybe I'll give this a shot. I'm a little nervous about using sandpaper though, cause I don't want to leave scratches all over the mouse mat.

 

Derp, sorry I was thinking of the K70 not the mouse mat, I'm not sure how well sandpaper would work on fabric. I guess the idea still applies though, just scrub at it with something and then cover up any imperfections with a marker or fabric dye.

So I'm looking at buying the Corsair MM200 extended edition, but I can't fine a retailer that has one of the older ones with the sail logo on it, but the newer ones with the ugly Corsair Gaming logo just seem to be plentiful. I really dislike that love-batlith thing (whatever it's called), but I want this mouse mat. (I've even spent extra to get the K70 RGB keyboard with the good ol' sail logo on it)

 

Is there any way I could remove the logo? I'd be fine with keeping even just the corsair gaming text at the bottom, just not the damn trashy tattoo thing. 

 

 

 

And before the inevitable happens, please don't refer me to Linus' troll video for replacing the logo on the RGB keyboards.

Just put electrical tape over it and use a silver sharpie to draw whatever logo you like!

I cant really tell from the images but you might be able to sand off the embossed bit and paint over it, although what type of paint you would need I don't know. Some kind of plastic paint maybe?

Why do you have to get the MM200?

Ducky has one of them big mouse pads, as do many others

Get a ducky shine and use markers to color over keycaps to simulate RGB instead.

Exactly. I hate the tramp stamp, and that's why I want to remove it.

Unfortunately, just going over it would mean I could still see it,

 

I like the idea of sanding off the logo so that it's not there anymore, but the idea of using a sharpie to colour in imperfections caused during sanding sounds like a really good solution.

I totally agree....its a sticker, it doesn't do anything and it doesn't hender performance. If you didn't like the logo don't buy it, its that simple.

Perhaps. I was thinking maybe it could come off my scratching at it. Maybe I'll give this a shot. I'm a little nervous about using sandpaper though, cause I don't want to leave scratches all over the mouse mat.

 

Derp, sorry I was thinking of the K70 not the mouse mat, I'm not sure how well sandpaper would work on fabric. I guess the idea still applies though, just scrub at it with something and then cover up any imperfections with a marker or fabric dye.

Wait, they remake the mouse mat to have that gaming logo on it? I picked up my MM200 not so long ago and it doesnt have the gaming logo on it, just corsair and the sails logo in the bottom right corner, I also have the extended one

 

Edit: just looked at my order history on Amazon, wow they actually have changed it to the gaming logo haha
