Ethernet issues - My pc turnes of when i connect to the internet

Right well so the computer was working fine and connecting to the internet fine through Ethernet but then one day I turn it on and login 2 minutes later it turns of i think is a power cut and turn it back on the  same thing happens over and over again I get annoyed and leave it. I then think its the pc so I remove the HDD and put it into 2 other pc's and it  still didn't work but while I had the Ethernet unplugged I turned the computer on and it worked fine except for the fact it couldn't connect to the internet I also tried a small USB wireless dongle I thought it worked but then turned of again im thinking I might need to reset all the network settings but I don't  know how also it turns of as soon as you log in now rather than waiting 2-3 minutes please help I couldn't find anything else.

Im running windows xp and I did have a static IP but I removed that.

General Advice for common issues. Please check none of these solve your issue before posting a topic:

If you get a Blue Screen Of Death:

  • Upload the dump files from C:\Windows\Minidump in a compressed archive (.zip etc) to a file sharing site such as dropbox, mega etc. This allows us to read the error messages and diagnose the problem effectively and quickly.
  • If you can't boot into windows, download a linux live usb such as ubuntu (download) (instructions on putting it on a live USB here) and try to get the files

cant be sure abaout the dump file... missing the xp symbols but the message is saying it's bad driver(maybe new Windows update file) second choice is virus that has taken over but you could try to restore earlier recovery point (if in use) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/948247. You could also update your ethernet drivers or disable the lan in bios. Last try what i can think is to use install disk and try to repair the installation.
