New to Android/Rooting Help

I recently bought a LG G Vista it has Android 4.4.2 KitKat/VS88012A. I want to root it but i've been looking at tools when i was searching for it and a lot look really sketchy.What root tool should i use to root my Android?.

rooting is legal

but I wouldn't pay for it
