Audio Interference - Asus P9X79 WS

I am experiencing this annoying audio interference from my Mobo. The problem has been going for months now. When I turn on the machine, with the speakers on already, everything is fine as soon Windows starts to boot up, when a high pitch note of low intensity start to come out of my speakers (Yamaha HS-50 connected to the PC through a MOTU Ultralite mk3 via USB). Also, every time I open a window, or scroll, I hear other noises on top of that one. The pitch, intensity and amounts of such noises/whine/flaps may vary according to the window/program I'm opening and the day/night cycle. It doesn't get affected by the audio level on my interface, nor the level on the speakers. I am excluding the issue with said sound interface, it works properly on Mac, and I hear the noise from the speakers even with the device turned off (but yet connected via USB to the computer. As soon I unplug the USB from the audio interface, all the interference is gone). I am excluding an issue with the screen as well, as I can hear the same interference with the monitor turned off and unplugged from the video card. I tried to move the video card in a different PCI slot, but didn't solve the problem. So, I'm just thinking is an issue with my MoBo. As soon I start to play movies or music, everything is fine because the level of such noise is pretty low, but drives me crazy nonetheless and I got to the point of turning the MOTU off or unplugging the USB just to be able to work peacefully in silence.

I have tried multiple things, from different outlets for the audio equipment, to BIOS audio-dedicated tweakings like disabling C states, the on-board audio module, Thermal monitor, and SpeedStep. On Windows 7 64bit I disabled the registry entry for the cores parking feature.

Here is the list of changes I've already applied to the BIOS:

X.M.P. Profile 1

EPU Power Saving Mode - Disabled

CPU Load-line Calibration - Extreme

CPU Power Duty Control - Extreme

CPU Power Phase Control - Extreme

VRAM - Offset

Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology - Disabled

Turbo Mode - Enabled

Intel Adaptive Thermal Monitor - Disabled

CPU C States - Disabled

Azalia HD Audio - Disabled

Chassis 1 to 4 Q-Fan Control - Disabled (only 1 fan on the CPU heatsink in my build)

My setup is

MoBo: Asus P9X79 WS

CPU: i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz

Ram: Ripjaws Z 32 Gb

GPU: Asus Direct SilentCU GeForce GT 640

PSU: Seasonic SS-520FL (520W Fanless)

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro series, 128 GB

All drivers up to date

(I hope here I'll get something more than the Asus Tech Support "please update the drivers of your motherboard" bs :)

Thanks LTT community, any help will be highly appreciated.

So your speakers work well with your other mac is what your saying? If so you should try using them on a different computer to see if your motherboards audio chip is to blame.

Intel Core i7 7770K | 32 GB's Ram 3000MHz | GTX 1080 Ti | 250GB SSD | 3TB 7400 RPM | Sound Blaster Z | ASUS ROG MG278Q | Razer Blackwidow Chroma | Final Mouse 2015 | Blue Yeti | Seinheiser HD 600's | Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro | Aune T1 MK2

Yeah. My roommate has a similar build in his room, I tried my audio device in his computer, it works fine. His device on my computer, same problem.

What drives me nuts is that I see people fixing this problem on the web just disabling C1E status, the only option in my board is "C statuses" altogether but yet didn't fixed it.

Than again, I tried a bunch of options in the BIOS as you can see from my former post, with no success. Still, hope it is something it can be fixed without shipping back the Mobo, the idea of taking my build apart again makes me sweat cold
