140mm rad fans?

Okay so I need a better fan for my 140mm rad that is thicker than normal. It's the same as the Kraken x41 from NZXT.

My fan is way too loud for my liking. Which 140mm fan has the best noise/static pressure ratio? Also how much static pressure should I be looking for? Noctuas are out of the question I hate the way they look. LIKE HATE. Blue LEDS are preferred c:

Thanks everybody!

Then lower the RPM a bit, or get a noise-canceling case? I have them and they are whisper quiet on my H105.

Interesting... I think I have the AF ones.. They are 120mm so the 140 could be quieter.

If you want silent fans I'd recommend the NoiseBlocker Blacksilent Pro PK-2. They don't look crazy but they are great for radiator use and have a good Static Pressure/noise ratio.

Static Pressure wise you should be looking at 1.5 mmH2O or more. However at 140 mm almost no fans meet that requirement unless they spin faster/louder, so i wouldn't even bother. :P

who cares...

Other options would include the Phantek  F140SP, F140XP,  or Cougar Vortex/Vortex HDB they are all rated at about 19 dB at full speed.  The Phanteks F140MP offers slightly better static pressure, but at the price of more noise.

Everyone has different ears and most people think Corsair are loud so..

My choices would be:

1. Noctua NF-P14s redux-900 140mm (these respond great to a fan controller)

2. Noctua NF-A14 PWM 140mm (these respond great to a fan controller)

3. Noiseblocker Black Silent Pro PK-PS 140mm (these respond great to a fan controller)

I had corsair fans myself SP.120 and they dont respond  good to undervolting and have a shitty bearing (some cheap copy).

They started to whine when undervolted to 600-800rpm. I had the 3-pin version.

Phantek and fractal design fans makes a slight thicking noise when undervolted.

I have the Noctua NF-P14s redux 1200rpm pwm version. They work pretty well but they are a tad noisier than my old nf-p12 fans. Also the redux line uses a grey design instead of the usual brown and beige colour scheme.

I noticed Fractal has recently come out with a new series of fans including 140 static pressure ones. Those look interesting.

Redux line is also not brown and beige. They're grey so they look much better than the regular ones.

Some really good options coming soon: http://www.overclock.net/t/1546649/product-info-and-discussion-vardar-radiator-fans/100_50#post_23940808

If you can't wait then I would recommend the Noiseblocker Blacksilent Silent Pro fans. I am going to have 8 each of the PK-2 and PK-3 fans in my build.
