Juanse

Hello guys, so today I started to try to program in UNITY and I found out that I could work with c# or Javascript, what do you guys think would be a better and most useful option?

Java or javascript (both are very different) are also getting more popular for game development because of the mobile market. But go with C# or C++ when you can because they are more established for game development.

Well Java is not Javascript and Unity uses an altered version of Javascript, called Unityscript. Like @Nuluvius said.

You can use both really, there are just as many C# tutorials as Javascript/Unityscript ones.

Unity's official documentation always features both language's sample code.

I heard Javascript is uses more in North America and C# more in Europe..

It doesn't really matter.

I'd say C#, from what was said above it's UnityScript which is obviously for Unity and probably isn't used anywhere else so I'd learn a more widely used language like C#.

Im starting to learn JAVA, and I would recommend it, if you would mostly programm for android in it.

Python is a very good language aswell, but alot easyer than java.

1. I just prefer c-languages

2. performance

3. ubiquity (too lazy to look up how it is spelled)

If one of the two is better than the other, why would anyone go for the other one... and why would it be created at the first place...

It totally depends on the platform you are willing to implement the program to... If you are going to host the program to a website,

then JS will be more flexible and useful and for windows/OS based implementation C# would be better...

There's always a way...
