Best 42 Inch Full HD 1080p TV?

I am having a lot of trouble figuring out what to buy, any suggestions and if so what should I get?

Im not too good with TV's but what i do know is, is that you want to look for the ones that have like the least ammount of trim around the edges, the clearest, yadda yadda yadda. But what i will say is dont get pulled in by all the stupid things they put on there, theyll do anyhting to get you to buy it, "Liquid crystal 1080 display, feels like youre there!"

All depends on what you are going to use it for, I got a 42" Vizio that I just use for my Wii U. Does the job just fine.

Am I the only one around here who really doesn't like pcpartpicker?
I also like Ubisoft and Origin/EA          Guess I'm just odd that way.

do you want top of the line? It really goes more by brand for TV's samsung and LG are some of the best quality. Philips is decent but not quite as good, and vizio and other asian knockoff brands are the low end

 The Wannabe is no longer. Replaced by the Flotilla. If you replace every part of a computer is it still the same computer?

Get the cheapest 42' TV that's 1080p and isn't made out of shit plastic

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel


After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

I guess your location and budget would help the group. The main use of the TV too, as people mentioned.
