Haha nice! Good to hear you're enjoying building PCs. Nice pan on the stove by the way lol. I need some new pans.

Love the backround. Reminds me of Linus' builds. Have fun building computers. I have built 3 in less than a 2 month span. I was in heaven.  Take evererty opertunity to build a PC you can, it is loads of fun

The most challenging thing is overcoming the fear you will break something. When I did my first build, I was taking so much care and spent around 3 hrs on it. In my next built I did it in 1 hr with some help from a friend  (since it was his computer I was building)

Wasn't difficult at all overall. The biggest problem I ran into was using an SSD boot drive from my old computer, I had to get the LAN drivers so I could go to Gigabytes site for updates

Did you take all the cautions of using antistatic mats and wristbands? I'll be using the anti static wrist band but just putting it on the mobo box and ect should be fine.

I used the mobo box and kept touching a metal surface regularly.

Nope. I just dischanged static before I started. I said "to hell with anti-static wrist bands!"

Funny you say that, since were I have my PC the floor is rug, and when I am in there I never have my shoes on. So I open up my case every so often to clean dust and such and I just touch the outside of the case and I am completely fine
