R9 3XX Series reveal @ 14th of June!?

So apparently the R9 3XX series is supposed to be release around 14th/24th of June.

 

Anyone else waiting to see how much of a kick ass series though should be? :)

I know it's WCCFtech but I bloody hope they are right...been a while since a GOOD AMD release.

I'm betting the 390 and 390x wont be an insane improvement over the 980, and we already can pretty much tell that the 380 is a rebrand of the 280x or 290.

Can't wait to see how the card actually looks like. AMD HD2000 cards IMO had the best design, transparent plastic shroud with etch flames, none of that sticker crap. That's why I bought one.

R9 390 and 390X won't be rebrands as far as I am aware.

 

R9 290 and 290X will be the 380 and 380X as far as I am concerned but there is a lot of spiel about "rebrands" some people say this series wont be some say it will but I REALLY hope it wont be :)

Yeah they choose the WORST times to do this sort of thing :(

I hope it humps the GTX 980ti also known as the poor man Titan X :P

 

In fact I hope the R9 390 owns the Titan X with it's 4/8gb HBM which should give a fairly nice boost and with DX12 should REALLY give some performance boost with Tier 3 DX12 support :)

The only thing worth looking at is the 390 and 390X and those will be competitors and at release Nvidia might lower 980ti price.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel


After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

I've been waiting for the 390x for a couple months now. I just wished it was coming out before the Witcher 3.
