How does it work!?

Hey guys Ive been trying to figure this out for a long long time.  How does a 2/3/4 way SLI/CFX loop work?!  Ive been looking at pictures and diagrams for ever!  It litterally hurts my brain that I cant figure it out.  Any help or insight would be super cool!

each block has water going through one side, coming out the other, basicly having what we could refference to parallel water cooling,  (like parallel in electricity)

the water flow is smaller overall, but still goes in every block.

Jay's skunkworks is kind of confusing. The coolant is pumped from the right (water is going up) and the coolant is being sucked down on the left (water going down)
You can watch this video from 1:20 to 1:35.
