Asus VS Gigabyte GTX 980

UnicornStrength

Hi i was wondering which is better, they are both the same price for me, i would like to know the maximum overclock it can get to on core and memory clock if possible, which is a better cooling solution, dont worry about watts, dont worry about length, im just worried about performance and sound.

I say there is a slight difference between them yet. I like the look of the strix more but I'm sure gigabyte can overclock higher and is quieter.

My choice was the asus, and still is atm, but ive seen some talk around that gigabyte is the best, like i dont look at small stuff like, it can overclock 20mhz more.

gigabyte g1 has 2x8pins while the asus has an 8+6pin. the g1 chips are also binned, to a degree...

gigabyte, ik this is off topic but u can get 2 970s for price of 1 980 and get much better performance/bang for buck
