I have $150 to spend on a new full tower case and a fully modular power supply, any recommendations?

Power supply must be a minimum of 650W

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Spend more on the PSU than the case to get a good one... as far as individual models... what are you putting in it?

to be honest, $150 for both case and PSU is going to get you two "mehh" parts, that you'll regret later.

i'd suggest $100 and up for a case, and around $70ish and up for a fully modular power supply.

you're not far off, its just that tiny bit extra thats gonna make you happy you spent it.

So? He could go Seasonic, Superflower or Enermax and spend less on a case.

Yeah all the GS are Seasonic. They go from 550W upwards.

This is a good link for info on who makes what - http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/PSUReviewDatabase.html

Yeah, the guide I usually follow (from tomshardware) is a little bit dated.

I disagree on this. Yes they are meh but are good products and I bet the owner wont regret it. And it leaves money for a better gpu
