Which 750w power supply would you reccomend?

King Oriax

Now the only limitations are that I'm looking to spend under $100 and that it has to be at least gold 80+, currently I'm looking at these two

I hear plenty of good things about the roswell psu and I considered it for a while. However the antec seems to be better, and it's platinum rated which is awesome, as I live in CA where electricity is stupid expensive. The only problem with it is that it's a smaller brand and I'm not sure how good their power supplies are, and you know the whole 3 year warranty thing is a little short. I know about the EVGA G2 series which everyone seems to rave about but I'd rather spend ~$40 somewhere else in the build.

A gold or higher would save me at least $50 a year in electricity bills. I bought a corsair power supply when I was building my girlfriend a computer, 3 units in a row showed up dead on arrival and the 4th died within 3 months, kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, I think it was an HX 500

Not even in the same ballpark as the Antec. The Corsair CX is currently $69.99 after rebate. For an extra $10 you are getting one of the best psu's on the market in the Antec.

For $79.99 snap up the Antec. You won't get a better power supply than that for sub $80 after rebate. It is an excellent unit. You get a 7 year warranty with it. Also the manufacturer for the Antec HCP is Delta Electronics who are one of, if not the best at what they do.

I had a Seasonic X750 that lasted me 5+ years. I will recommend Seasonic PSUs till the day I die. Only reason I don't use it anymore was because I got the wrong modular cable set, and I now have an HX750i, also fantastic (but to hell with corsair link)

CPU  5820k - 4.0GHz @ 1.27V  |  MOBO X99-Pro  |  RAM 16GB Ballistic @ 2133MHz  |  PSU HX750i

 COOLING  Kraken X61 - 6x NF-A14 iPPC  |  DRIVES  256GB 950 Pro - 2x 1TB Travelstar - 1x 1TB WD Black

GPU  EVGA GTX980 SC |  CASE  R5  |  OS  Win 8.1 Pro  |  MISC   Cablemod C-Series White Set

I agree with xeromynd in that I will stick with Seasonic unless some colossal event changes their quality, but I'm biased. It's the only PSU oem I have never had a single issue with. Ever.

Also agreed on the Antec. There is no reason to take an Evga 750 G2 over it - at all.

Delta are the other absolute top tier PSU oem, as mentioned.
