Is this good?

TJPC

hello,

I am using a 128GB PCI/m.2 Boot SSD and 4 256GB SATA 3 running raid 0 for 1TB drive and a 2TB NAS

would that set up be good or am I missing something?

Thanks

If they're running in Raid 0, you only get speed, not capacity, making just a superfast drive that is likely to fail and can only store 256GB. Are you sure you don't mean something else?

Hey TJPC,

Your system looks very well optimized for speed. :)
I have to correct @Stuman1. RAID0 does allow stacking up of the drive's capacities. If you use four similar 256GB SSDs, you will have 1TB RAID0 capacity, but with a very large chance of data loss or drive dropouts.
My suggestion is to make sure you have backups of the content in the RAID array. Other than that you are good to go. :)
