I have a green led light on the MB?

it just means xmp is on

if it bothers you you can cover it up with a tiny piece of black electrical tape

it shouldnt get that hot on that part of the motherboard so the tape wont melt

this green led light has turned on when i switched the MB over to xmp not sure what it means 

 

asus z97 ar MB

 

corsair 16gb of 1866

 

everything seams to be working but i would like for this light to not be on sorry the flash makes it hard to see the green light

 

next to the led it says

 

"XLED"

At least the xmp is your rams profile what sets it to run on its advertised speeds
