So just curious on how do you store your cords

I try to loop them as i put them away.. But unholy mess would probably describe it better

When I put my cables into the drawer, they are nicely wound in a loop. When I need a cable and open the drawer, they are a unholy mess.

I was thinking of  building a tall armoire type closet and buying several plasic shoe organizers you see people (mostly woman) have on the back of a door.  And have a really nice way of storing and labeling all my cables in an organized fashion.

unholy mess but sorted... i have bins for audio, video, networking, power, data(usb, fw and peripherals)

 

and a big bin with all sorts of cables in the attic :P (have to sort this one out soon)
