NZXT Noctis 450 Modding Help

Hey Guys! 

I am picking my parts for my monstruous new pc and i have a problem.

I really want to buy the NZXT Noctis 450 but my whole setup will be black and orange. I want the black/red noctis but it has red LED's on the NZXT logo and red underlights. I want to replace them both by orange or RGB interchangeable LED's and get some orange or RGB lighting on the inside of the case. Please give me tips or link me a good looking Mid or Full tower that is full black or black and orange with a good sized window under 180$.

 

My PC components (they fit on a Mid Tower):

 

-Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor

-MSI X99S SLI Plus ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard

-Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory

-OCZ ARC 100 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive x2

-XFX Radeon R9 295X2 8GB Core Edition Video Card 

-Rosewill 1050W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

- Possibly a NZXT HUE for lighting (Not Sure if it is worth it)

- If you think i need water cooling for my CPU or Graphics Card or even a custom water cooling system (leaning towards this option) please recommend me a good setup or kit (orange, RGB or black lighting too)

 

Peripherals Setup:

-Asus Strix 7.1 or DSP

-Logitech G502 Proteus Core Mouse (Not Orange )

-Corsair Vengeance K70 RGB Keyboard with Red CherryMX Switches

-Monitor Not Decided (If you want, link me a good one)

-SteelSeries QcK Heat Orange Edition Mouse Pad

i dont know much about cases that are orange but nzxt has the h440 with orange color's and stuff+ beQuiet has some orange thing's in their cases

Are you trying to run TWO 295x2's (4x 290x) from that psu? not gonna happen bro atleast 1500 highly rated psu for those power hungry card's

Yeah, I know about the H440, but i want the Noctis because of its agressice looks. If i can't mod the Noctis 450, i have the Zalman Z11 Plus Orange edition or the H440 on standby

You cant mod the 450 as far as I know. I had the same idea as you, but I've decided to just mod my current case a bit.

You can do a lot of work with the H440 (happy to see you have it as an alternative). Might I introduce you to "Cinders" (my current build)?

Well Guys, Either way, since this pc is $$$, i won't buy all the parts right now so, when start building the pc, possibly in July, there will be modding on the Noctis. 

 

And just one thing. I think the LED on the NZXT logo is the same as the H440 logo, so is there any way to replace the LED with an orange one without soldering?

 

And anyone of you has the NZXT HUE and can tell me if it is worth it?

you could just paint the led or the cover for it with transparent pain(t)

Maybe you could get a Be Quiet Silent Base 800 and do a simple window mod.
I bet your be real proud of it when you finish because the window would be exactly what you want.

I have the same issue but mine is blue and black themed it is just I don't want to be doing heavy modding since I only got into PC's about 1 1/2 years ago and I don't want to be painting the white one because it'll take longer.if I don't get an answer I'll be fine then ill have this question.Phanteks Enthoo Luxe vs NZXT Noctis 450.Phanteks Enthoo Luxe.

I think i can really help you out. Unfortunately I missed my dream case the N450 Midnight blue, but i wanted to have the white/black design. So i decited to buy the black/red one and changed all the LEDs from red to white. Surprisingly it wasnt that hard but it took me some time to make it perfect.

 

If you want me to help you, i can send you all steps to change the LED's to your facourite color.

If I where you I would by the HUE+ for the interior of the case (I bought it too )

 

So if you still need help, just add me in skype (nickname= Colbratoc )
