Just a simple led controller question

CalumGiff

I soldered some red 12volt leds together and ive ran them inside and udner my h440, they are currently powered by molex and so are not able to be turned on and off unless i shut my PC down. I found this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0046Y1622/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3PS2VBQTNJHN0&coliid=IULF3IMP60XQ

and i was thinking of attaching the rest of my leds to the strip and using that as a controller?

Will it work?

I can't confirm this but it should be fine, as you know LED are very simple circuits so there shouldn't be anythign else under the sleeving to make it not do-able.

For a 12V LED strip that will unfortunately not work, those are 3.3V LED's and with my guess are wired in parallel that way. I would suggest soldering in an on/off switch or simple controller to control your LEDs.
