FPS gaming mouse and keyboard under 75$

bhagatneel15

Looking for a durable gaming mouse and keyboard under 75$

I have large hands, a larger mouse would be prefered

Full size keyboard, must be backlit

Durability over all other factors (eg. sleeved wires, aluminium/metal build, etc)

Thanks!

As far as keyboards go just get and OEM rubber dome keyboard lol, they have super short key travel and immediate actuation to allow to super quick reaction times. Also they are hard as hell to break, I've punched mine more times than I care to admit and it hasn't broken yet lol.

As for a mouse, I'd suggest the Corsair m65. Has an aluminum unibody and proper fps buttons and isn't a small mouse but isn't a very huge one either.

Corsair M95 | SuperLux 668b's | Logitech C615 | ViewSonic VX2250wm | Random OEM keyboard until I rage break it and grab another random OEM keyboard from my pile.

Its quite small - The Corsair Sabre is larger to my knowledge.

The m65 is wider and taller but the sabre is longer. Guess it depends on his grip style.

For the mouse:

Logitech G402

Corsair Sabre (the smallest out of the three)

Steelseries Rival (the biggest out of the three)

For the keyboard (had to cheap out a bit, but you can buy a better one later):

Trust eLight

Sharkoon Nightwriter

Gigabyte Force K3 (probably my preference)

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Just get something like Zowie FK2 or Razer Deathadder and a cheap office keyboard. Replace it with something more fancy in the future.

Gotta go with the steelseries rival, I have huge Hands too and boy does it fit like a XXL glove to my hands.

For the keyboard, OEM rubber dome is the cheapest, so you'll be able to fit in your budget. maybe upgrade to a G710+ in the future, it's pricy but it works really and it's built like a tank. If you red switches better just get the corsair that fits your budget. should be durable enough.

For Shooters, just get a nice mouse and whatever keyboard you can find within your budget. I have large hands and use palm/fingertip grip., I like the feel of the Deathadder, Steelseries rival, and Logitech G400s. They all have good sensors, switches, and are just simple which I count as a pro for fps gaming. All of them you can typically find for around 50 bucks. I found the zowie fk1 and most of the corsair mice to be a bit small and uncomfortable. But if you use claw you'll probably like the zowie fk1 or fk2 quite a bit.

Although having a mechanical keyboard is nice, It won't do as much as a good mouse will for shooters. So I say just find something cheap that you like, until you can get a mechanical or good membrane, based on your preference.

Have had a G400s, Rival, G402, and Deathadder

Personally prefer Rival> Deathadder > G400S

Wasnt fan of the G402's mouse clicks
