Casual online gaming, Video editing PC Build

This is my first time building a PC and I'm a newbie in this forum.

Budget and location: Aim is below $1000, but I can go a little higher if it is absolutely necessary or give much better value. Location is Vietnam and the local price is provided in the table below, Also note that I'll be moving to Japan for about 4 years in September so some stuff like screens I will need to buy in Japan with a higher price and I will not have warranty in case something happens.

Aim/ My main use:

  • Play Dota 2, LoL, Heartstone, Elsword (light of graphic games)
  • Use Photoshop (usual file size 20MB, sometimes 200MB, rarely go up to 1gb)
  • 3D work (novice level)
  • Video editing (mainly Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe After Effects)
  • Running 3 - 4 facebook games at once

Monitors

  • Currently I have no monitors
  • Main screen 2560 x 1440 or  2560 x 1600
  • Main screen size 22" or 24" inch
  • secondary screen, no preference other than small, mainly will be used for utility like task manager or check my pc stats

Peripherals: I have nothing for PC, prefer using window 8.1.

Reason for upgrading: I had a Samsung Series 5 as heavy work machine, but it got stolen by a burglar. The other laptop I have is a Sony Vaio Tab 11, which can barely can handle heavy work with everything else closed.

Note: I'm not planning to overclock the CPU, I tend to have bad luck with technology, but that is not the absolute decision.

Thank you very much.

I'd go for an i7 4790K if possible and a z97 mobo or a i7 4790 and a h97 mobo.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

I was wondering lately, to what extent does an i7 4790k value will be more benificial than value of 3570k for my usage?

And the upgrade will increase over all budget by around $130 and I still need to get screen and cases, in which I still haven't found the cake.

The hyperthreading of the i7 will make it roughly 50-75% faster than the i5 3570K for multitasking and video editing/rendering.
