It'll be used for PC gaming on high/ultra settings (1080p), and needs to be (forgive me) as future-proof as possible. This dude doesnt upgrade often at all (He's like a GTX 275 or something else ancient), so it needs to be good enough for ultra/high now, and high/mid tomorrow. Also, please dont cut the amount of performance, or the HDD capacity. He needs HT for some programs (or 4 cores). Also PLEASE no MIR's... I know I am asking a miracle, but can it be done?

I can't do the pentium, it only has two cores, this kid needs at least HT, for program requirements. Guess I should have put that in OP...

Get some stuff used. Maybe the cpu used but not the psu or case. You may be able to get a used gpu as well. You might be able to get more bang for the buck that way.
