Pretty sure the fox was just gathering it all in his mouth to take elsewhere and eat... just be coincidence he collected them which formed 'a sandwich' in his mouth.

I was waiting for its head to split open, tentacle's to shoot out, and it to eat the journalists.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

But look at the bigger picture, and you'll notice the fox is indeed the one and only.
