Recoding software

Go to solution Solved by Syh,

I'd use ShadowPlay as suggested. The performance hit is non-existent for the most part. Here's a guide on ShadowPlay: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1871999/nvidia-shadowplay-beta.html.

Otherwise, I'd highly recommend OBS (instead of FRAPS). There will be a performance hit to an extent though. Here's a guide for OBS recording settings: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/.

I just wanted to know what good recoding software i can get not for just in game also my desktop anyone know of any good ones id prefer free but if its good ill consider buying

Thx

I prefer OBS over Fraps because Fraps has ridiculous lag and storage problems.

If you have a Nvidia GPU, just use ShadowPlay.  Works with desktop recording too.

You don't have to login to use it.  Click the ShadowPlay tab on GFE and set your keybinds, for recording and stop recording.  On the virtual Monitor at the top should be a check box where you can select to allow desktop recording.  I usually do a full system restart just in case (GFE settings always bug out for me until a restart).  Press your record button and do your thing.
