Hmm, I think you don't need to know anything else, just make sure your PC is capable to run the game. Other things should be explained in the game like tutorial.

Don't leave the fan on your graphics card set to 15%, I did that on my 6950 and it hit 103 degrees, it shuts down at 105. xD

Tutorial isn't actually 'live' live yet. I was released in the PTU today.

OP: Take a look at the stickied posts in this subforum. Most of the topics here are quite helpful, and there are 2 FAQ's that can help you.

Have fun!

Ah yes, the RSI Bible ^_^

I remember scrolling through the behemoth quite some time ago. The amount of effort in this is impressive to say the least!

Since most of it is currently just AC, you might want to try out decoupled (strafe-based) flight a bit. Also, if you aren't using a stick, you might want to consider changing the lead-pip options, or using the toggle to determine what works best for you.

Other than that, just make sure you make good use of boost and brake, as those can be quite crucial in 6 directional flight. Unlike other arcade style games, there is some degree of actual physics in the game's space flight. Thereby, inertia actually matters.

Still new, but learning

The things i learned most valuable to me are decoupled and relative mode. Spend a few minutes in free flight first before going into mp or vandul swarm as it can get hectic real fast.
