is asus zenfone 2 launch as disastrous in other countries as it is in France?

Hello everyone !

 

I'd like to gather a few infos on the asus ZENFONE 2 ze551ml phone in other countries like availability and eventually the quircks encountered.

In France, asus completely missed it's launch, with more than 1 month of wait for the product to be sent from them, paypal conflicts like no tomorrow and only 2 partners for launch, also confronted to an insane shortage and delays. It's been one month since the product is available here, yet they do not have honored commands dating from 31th of march...

...

so any idea if it's just a french issue or a global shortage?

I don't think its global, the Zenfone 2 launched seamlessly here and is available from all major outlets & 3rd-party resellers. I think it's a french thing, maybe an EU thing.

No i guess its just France, its availability is quite good in Asia

I already got my hands on it, my neighbor just purchased it, overall the phone bang for buck, but the battery got issues which isn't upto mark just 1 day usage and its done, camera also could be a bit good

But asus already said that they will solve the problem in the coming updates
