Looking for a fix for the Steelseries 9H volume issue

asorel

I recently ordered a Steelseries 9H headset, and one of the things I noticed during my research was complaints regarding the volume being just a bit low, due to a Danish law restricting maximum output. From what I read, I think I would be able to handle the problem without too much annoyance. All the same, if there's a software workaround for the cap, I would like to use it. For instance, would an older version of the Steelseries software suffice?

My advice would be to leave it alone you only get one pair of ears if there is a law restricting the noise level it's there for a reason I know too many guys who are half deaf they all say if they could get another chance they would have protected there hearing more.
