Y splitter to low-noise adapter?

Will 2 140mm fans work if i plug both into a Y splitter and plug the splitter to a low noise adapter?

If the LNA is just a little inline resistor you probably don't want to do this. I've seen fan headers eat it with that setup.

1. Overclock until the magic smoke comes out. 2. Modify until broken. 3. Fix and repeat.

If the LNA is just a little inline resistor you probably don't want to do this. I've seen fan headers eat it with that setup.

That little resistor will probably heat up too much, unless you replace it with one of the correct value

and I suggest metal film 2 watts to be safe and cool... The standard LNA is something around 50 ohm btw.

"little inline resistor". So i am getting a Noctua NH-D14. I think the LNA's have those little resistors that are covered in electrical tape. :/
