Android transfer texts from default messaging app to whatsapp

lak90

I recently started using whatsapp but all my previous texts are on the default messaging app.

Is there a way to just transfer the texts to whatsapp?

No. They are independent systems of their own. WhatsApp does not use cellular networks, it actually uses the internet, so you cannot send SMSes from WhatsApp.

I don't want to send SMS through whatsapp, I want to copy my previous texts to whatsapp so I have everything together.

Like I said, they are independent systems of their own, they are not able to access each others' databases.
