What happened to Titanfall?

Yesterday i decide to fire up Titanfall, which i had bought for only 10€ and all the DLC are free now so i have them to. So i started a Team death match and had alot of fun. The graphics where great and super smooth. Gameplay mechanics where simple yet rewarding, the ability to dash around and flank people was super fun. Everything was simply perfect.

So im only left here wondering why did we forget Titanfall?

I got it day one, and bought the season pack. After spending over 60 dollars and 50Gbs of space in my system what it had to offer at at the time was just bad. There was little to no customization to your avatar or Titan, and the modes where pretty basic, if this had a story mode maybe it be a okay, but it only has a multiplayer that just didn't keep my attention for long.

It was on Origin.

Oh EA, so young, so naive.

It's hard to sell a multiplayer only game. When they did though, it was limited multiplayer game modes and weapons. Not enough for a multi only game. Then they didn't give a real campaign at all when they tried to.

The concept was amazing as hell but the execution. online only not much of a story no variability, caused its downfall. if they remade it better than it'd be good. The concept was perfect but execution was lacking, as expected from EA,

Server / Game selection sucked.
For the first 6 months you couldn't even tell how many people were even in your region or game mode.

Maybe I'm spoilt by the BF series server options, but it really frustrated me.

Gameplay itself I loved though and still play.

It's actually a pretty good game, I still play because it works really well with shield. I feel as though it was aimed at cod players but was unable to drag people away from it. Not a massively personal game, no real single player makes it difficult to relate I think.

Kind of feel that most people playing do so with controllers as it's very easy to get a good K/D.

Why does the audio take up so much memory? Lol
