Wow, really corsair?

Hi,

 

I've been having this problem for a while now, and only with my Corsair keyboard.

 

At random points, my keyboard glitches up and whenever I press 'S', it brings up the save tab. And whenever I press 'F', it brings up a Microsoft search box.

 

I literally have to restart my whole PC to fix the isue.

 

Things I have tried:

 

  • Unplugging the keyboard
  • Updating drivers
  • Turning scroll-lock and num-lock on
  • Turning sticky keys off

Your CTRL key is sticking. 

 

CTRL + S = Save

CTRL + F = Find

What keyboard? Make sure you don't have a certain profile switcher which switches to make those buttons do different things than normal.

But the key isn't manually sticking down?

Have you ever spilled anything on it? Coffee? Tea? That could leave keys sticking down even if you do not feel it.

I guess either someone has secretly messed up your keyboard, or, as a certain Decent man said, your CTRL is stuck with magic.

Neither is my key on my Razer BWU 2013 but it hasn't happened for a while now. I just pulled the key cap a bit and pressed it down again. 

 

If it gets really bothersome then get a RMA off Corsair.
