Rayhaan Jiwani

Hello Forum,

As you read in the title, I needed good speakers for my desktop and I also need a mic for my YouTube videos. My total budget for both of the things is about USD100. And the max I can go is USD105

Thanks! :)

Well, "good" is going to be hard. Decent ones, you can get something like a Rode Smartlav or a Modmic for the microphone, and I'd check out Logitech's offerings for cheap speakers.

The projects never end in my line of work.

For speakers, Lepai LP-2020A+ amp and Micca MB42X.

The speakers are too expensive and I don't need such high audio quality.

is the Logitech Z200 good? Because I can't go too big since I don't have a lot of desk space anyways. And if I go as little cheaper on the speakers, then I can get a mic for $70. So can anyone suggest one for $70?

Because my priority is mic over speakers.

I've never seen a youtuber using desktop speakers as it interfers with their audio, I would just get A good mic like a snowball and a headset.

Intel Core i7 7770K | 32 GB's Ram 3000MHz | GTX 1080 Ti | 250GB SSD | 3TB 7400 RPM | Sound Blaster Z | ASUS ROG MG278Q | Razer Blackwidow Chroma | Final Mouse 2015 | Blue Yeti | Seinheiser HD 600's | Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro | Aune T1 MK2

If you are streaming, i would stay away from speakers, you will have a lot of issues with feedback. I don't own a Blue snowball mic but it seems to be a really good choice, i will be picking up one to replace my zoom H2.

I have a budget headset. I needed speakers for general use (when not gaming) since I don't like headsets all the time and I haven't used much of headsets that's why I want speakers.

Thanks for your replies anyways, so I'm getting the Logitech Z200 and a Blue Snowball with the stand and pop filter combo for $75.
