1,500 budget build Opinions?

Hi everyone,

Looking into building my second rig. My first ever one was in 2009. I currently game on a laptop and am finding that its about time for an upgrade. I also miss desktops. I'm usually an Intel person but am going to give AMD a shot. I'm looking to purchase in May (Next month) I know its not three days away but I was looking for opinions and if the build looks solid and seems like the parts would go together well.

I am located in Canada so Canadian dollars please. This build is primarily for gaming and I'm looking to spend 1,000-1,500 on this with a monitor. I have an SSD and a Optical drive laying around that I intend to use here, I also already a have keyboard and mouse. I'm looking to game at 1920x1080. I also do need a wireless card I need to find a good one. xD

**I read that you have a SSD so that is why it has been missed out.

Don't buy a GTX 980, it's overpriced! Buy 2 GTX 970s or 2 R9 290s intstead (the R9 290s would even be cheaper)

Okay I am now ready to buy within the next few days I have purchased a ASUS VX23H so this cut into the budget a little bit. about 250 after tax.

Here are the two builds I have selected.

As stated before I have an SSD already kicking around. I really don't want to spend much more than this, I would like an opnion on the cases really mostly and which of the builds you would choose and why. If anyone has any suggestions for a better case around the 50-80 mark I'd like to hear them please. As before thank you for helping me out!
