Witcher III embargo lifted week before launch

CEO of CD Projekt RED, Adam Kiciński tells PAP (Polish Press Agency) that embargo for their flagship game reviews will be lifted week before launch. Recently Witcher III hit the gold status - copies of game are produced and distributed.

He told that in short statement aimed mainly at stockholders. No English website so far.

Great news, although some people are afraid that those reviews will not be objective. I think they are just confident, like publishers of Cities: Skylines.

And this is why I am comfortable preordering games like this. Same with NBA 2k and MLB the show. When developers are very open about what their product is and how much heart and soul they put into them I want to support it anyway I can. Especially if it means I can play right at midnight.

Nice, I will look at the reviews to see what I'm getting. I always take these reviews with a grain of salt because I always find the games I place more enjoyable then what reviewers give it credit for.

I'd say just let that PCMR mentality die off already, especially if you're not even in the subreddit. If CDPR does something good and reviewers give it the "go ahead", buy their stuff. If not, don't buy their stuff.
