Xbox one controller on PC via charger?

Hi,

Would an Xbox one controller with a charger/micro USB cable work on PC? I already have an Xbox and a controller with it but I want to use it with my pc

u need the wireless adapter

i got both runs on a pc

This is for 360 controller but I have an Xbox one controller.

I'm too dedicated to the PC Master Race lore to defy it. I'm actually really good at racing games with a keyboard.

from what i understand xbox one controllers only work by usb currently with microsoft giving access to wireless later on this year

Just plug it in with the charging cable, works like a dream!

There is still no wireless adapter, but I've been using my Xbone pad on my PC via micro USB cable for months.

Yes it should work just fine. Drivers should install automatically once connected otherwise you can download them manually here:

Too late. I performed Sub-Zero's at my mate's house with his PC. (Keyboard and mouse)
