I did help on what to do next. put the iso for windows on the drive, and then go to BIOS and change its boot options to boot from that Flash drive. Posted April 27, 2015 Ok so you have the ISO file Now you need to extract the ISO file put it on your USB flash drive, and make it bootable. To do this very easily, you can use this Microsoft free tool: https://wudt.codeplex.com/ Just download, install, and run, and follow the easy wizard. It will do all the work for you. Once done, simply restart your system, make your system boot from the USB flash drive, and voila, the setup of Windows will start. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted April 30, 2015 Author Ok I found out what I was doing wrong, If anyone has the same problem. The instructions send me to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media I then downloaded the create media file. But you have to run it on a windows computer to get an iso file. (PS I was on chrome os) So, you need a windows computer to get an iso file for windows.
