GTA V on Alienware Alpha

DeadSurvivor

I've seen GTA V play on the alienware alpha base model so i decided to buy it and play myself. FPS goes from 70-1 every time I play even on the lowest resolution with everything turned off and on normal. Any help? BTW I have the latest drivers for my GPU downloaded as well if that helps.

I'm not going to talk about alienware ...

GTX 860m with 2gb vram might be your problem , the 4GB ram is also a big cause of stutter .

Check task manager to see if it's the ram , as that's most likely .

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

I got it on discount so yeah... xD

If it is the memory, what amount and type should I get??

Resolution is 800x600 everything on normal or off except V-Sync, shadows are on sharp, and on story mode I set the population and traffic densitys on lowest.

My monitor runs at 1680x1050 and that was just horrible. Whats weird is that people who have the same exact model as me play the game fine :/

Why do you have shadows on sharp?

Put them on sofest or Nvidia PCSS

Also check your ram usage

The Nvidia PCSS option isn't there for when I play
