Can you download a bios update from a mac?

Hi! I just finished my pc build and i am about to update the bios on the uefi. I was wondering if you can download the uefi from a mac and then put it on a flashdrive and if it would work the same as downloading it from a windows and then putting it on a flashdrive.

Thanks!!

yes, every one that I have done just requires you to copy the files to the root of a usb. should not matter which os you use to do that.

Make sure it's a flash drive that the board will natively see, i.e. FAT32 or something. NTFS can't be written on macs per default...
