Which games can a gtx 970 not handle on max 1080p?

echoac

I want to push my gpu to the limits so I'm looking for games that can't be maxed with a gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 970 on 1080p. Any recommendations will help. Thanks.

Simple. Crank every setting to max in Gta 5 or crisis 3. Gta will push your vram to the max; crisis, the actual graphics processing.

The question is what can handle AC Unity at max settings 1080p? xD

League runs perfectly fine at 1080p max settings on my 970, don't have gta 5, witcher 3, or crysis 3... (I wanna get crysis 3 tho, I've played it before, it was pretty dank)

I think you are referring to the v-ram limit but except this.

It is mostly the processor which is the deciding factor.

Gta will push your vram to the max; crisis, the actual graphics processing.

Really?

Because on my 280x It only said around 2-2.5 gb v-ram will be used on very high to max settings (I didn't use msaa/fxaa though perhaps that might be why..?)

antialiasing drastically increases vram and processor usage.

TBH many games have this weired exponential curve for the amount of performance you need, because most cards can get pretty close/ past high settings easily, but when you start to hit the 16x trix-smooth rendered-pre buffered anti aliasing, it will basically kill any card...

I think I have the one that goes up to x16 but I don't remember what it's called.

I usually have that around 8-16 I think.
