Best 120/140mm Rad

Go to solution Solved by Interfectorem,

NZXT Kraken X41 hands down. It's a thick 140mm rad that, if I recall correctly, performs only a few degrees less than the H100i.

Hey guys,

For my build (with a 5820k) what would be the best single 120/140mm rad that you guys know of? I am planning to do a light OC on the machine and I want the cooler to be relatively quiet.

Thanks in advance,

Phillip

Are you sure that you can't go with a 240/280mm rad instead?

What's your location and what's your budget?

Sig under construction.

I live in the US with no budget, the reason I want it to be 120/140mm is because I don't want to remove my HDD cage on my R5, I don't want to remove the Moduvents, so I aim to use it as rear exhaust.

EDIT: The thicker the rad, the better.

Thanks! I was looking at that cooler, but I was wondering what other people had thought as well.

you can fit a 240/280 in front and keep all the bays.
